Controls and Gauntlet Abilities
Collecting Infinity Stones unlocks new keys on the Infinity Gauntlet, but many players still mash buttons without knowing when each ability matters. This controls guide explains single-stone and multi-stone abilities so your keybinds match the situation — boss fights, parkour, and farming.
Why Keybinds Need Stone Unlocks
Until you collect the matching stone, pressing F, C, R, or T does nothing useful. The gauntlet only exposes abilities tied to stones in your inventory. Charge (Q) specifically needs Power, Space, and Reality stones together before combos like Super Punch (X) or Disintegrate (E) work.
Single-Stone Abilities
| Key | Ability | Stone | Best Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| F | Teleport | Space | Skip parkour at Space Mountain, Reality's Edge, and Time Tower |
| C | Shield | Space | Block the Power Temple laser during the Power Stone NPC fight |
| R | Focus | Mind | Sustain damage + self-heal on bosses; spam during safe windows after Shield |
| T | Time Stop | Time | Freeze NPC clusters for safe farming bursts |
Multi-Stone Combos (Charge Required)
Hold or tap Q (Charge) first when you have Power, Space, and Reality stones:
- X — Super Punch — AoE burst for mid-game NPC farming
- E — Disintegrate — Also needs Soul Stone; deletes targeted NPCs while charged
- Snap UI — All six stones + Charge opens Classic Snap; freezes a massive NPC field
On the Upgraded Gauntlet, Classic Snap can fully heal you per use — a emergency heal button with a cooldown tradeoff.
Upgraded Gauntlet Additions
- Z — Infinity Beam — Long-range beam; damage scales with stones equipped
- V — Meteor Shower — Cursor-targeted AoE for World5 NPC packs
Common Mistakes
- Pressing Focus before obtaining the Mind Stone — no effect
- Trying Super Punch without charging Q first
- Using Snap without all six stones — UI never appears
- Forgetting Shield during Power Stone laser — fastest way to die in the temple
Practice Route
- Collect Space Stone → practice Teleport between map corners
- Add Reality Stone → learn Charge → Super Punch on spawn NPCs
- Add Mind Stone → Shield → Focus rhythm on any tough NPC before Power Temple
- Full six stones → Charge → Snap once in a low-risk area to feel the cooldown

Frequently Asked Questions
Which ability should I learn first after Space Stone?
Teleport (F) for map travel, then Shield (C) before attempting the Power Stone NPC fight.
What does Charge (Q) actually do?
It powers combo abilities. Without an active charge, Super Punch, Disintegrate, and Snap cannot activate.
Can I heal with the gauntlet?
Focus (R) with the Mind Stone heals during sustained use. Upgraded Gauntlet Classic Snap also fully heals per snap.
Do mobile controls work the same?
Yes. Tap the on-screen icons matching Q, R, F, C, T, E, X, Z, and V. Stone requirements are identical.
